The questions everyone asks first
Straight answers, no fine print. For anything else, ask the concierge — we reply quickly.
Yes — categorically. A lab-grown diamond is pure crystallized carbon with the same chemical, optical and physical properties as a mined one. The FTC classifies both simply as diamonds, and gem labs grade them on the identical 4C scale.
Yes. Thermal and electrical testers read lab-grown stones as diamond — because they are diamond. Moissanite reads differently on a tester; it is a distinct gem, and we always sell it as one.
Selected pieces are IGI certified. Where a stone carries a report we will send you the details before you buy, and where it does not, we say so — you always know what is in the setting.
Honestly: no diamond — mined or grown — is a financial investment; retail markups see to that. Buy the piece because you want to wear it. Natural, lab-grown and moissanite are priced per piece here, and we will tell you exactly what you are buying.
Yes. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale it is the second-hardest gem in daily wear — harder than sapphire or ruby. It resists scratching, chipping and clouding for decades.
